Each week we offer up some alternative NRL tips based on a new theme, and occasionally it will have nothing to do with rugby league. Just the way we like it. This week it is about each team’s record in at neutral grounds since that is basically what is happening for the rest of the season we presume.

NRL Round 19 Tips – Barely Interesting Stats
- Parramatta and Canberra have never met on a Thursday, but have met on neutral ground twice in Darwin. Parramatta have won both of those.
- Parramatta have won five of their last six Thursday games, Canberra have won four of their last five.
- Roosters have lost their last six Friday night games. Newcastle are 3/4 this season.
- Roosters have won 14 of 17 games against Newcastle this decade.
- Melbourne are on an 11 game winning run against North Queensland.
- Melbourne are on a 25 game winning run in North Queensland. Last lost in 2017.
- Souths have won 10 of their last 11 v Warriors. They are also unbeaten against the Warriors on the Sunshine Coast.
- Souths are also on a seven game winning streak on a Saturday.
- TV Stars Wests Tigers have won their last two games against Manly on a Saturday.
- Manly’s last three games on a Saturday have all been at neutral grounds.
- Wests Tigers have lost five in a row on a Saturday and 9/10.
- Broncos record as the away team at Suncorp is W3 L4. Two of their three wins came on a Saturday.
- Penrith have won 11 straight on a Saturday and conceded just 26 points in their last six Saturday games.
- Dragons have won 13 of their 16 games against Queensland sides.
- Titans have won their last three away games in Queensland on a Sunday.
- Bulldogs have lost nine in a row in Queensland. Sharks have lost seven in a row on a Sunday in Queensland. They last won in Qld back in 2004.
