Why Everton can win
Everton haven’t lost a Friday match v Spurs (W1 D1)
Everton’s W2 D1 L2 form at home to big six clubs is equal best with Arsenal, Leicester, Liverpool and Wolves.
Why Spurs can win.
Everton haven’t beaten Spurs in a home game since 2012 with a record of D4 L3 since.
Everton’s home form isn’t great this season either and recently. They have won just once in their last eight home games and are in the bottom two for last six home form with Liverpool.
Barely Interesting Stat:
The H2H manager record is current four wins a piece.
Everton are the worst home team this season in terms of % of points won at home. Their 37.5% is lower than Fulham (38.5%) and Leicester (39%).

Why West Ham can win.
West Ham are yet to be beaten by a bottom six club – home or away.
Newcastle are yet to beat a London side at home this season (D2 L2)
Barely Interesting Stat:
Newcastle have the sixth highest points total at home to top six sides this season and their W1 D2 L2 record isn’t too bad. Surprisingly Southampton are the only side this season not to lose at home to a top six side (W2 D1)

WOLVES v SHEFFIELD UTD

Why Wolves can win
Sheffield Utd have lost four in a row and five in a row away from home and scored just one goal in those five away games.
Sheffield Utd have yet to beat a side lower than the top six away from home.
Wolves are unbeaten in their last seven home games v Sheffield Utd (W3 D4) going back to 2005.
They have also won the last three Saturday games to nil.
Why Sheffield Utd can win.
Wolves are only two points above Sheffield United in last six form.
Wolves have won just one of their last five games v bottom six. Although that was against Fulham last start.
Barely Interesting Stat:
The Blades have scored two goals in their last seven trips to Wolves.

Arsenal have won six in a row v Fulham.

Fulham (D2 L1) have yet to beat a London side away. Or at home either (L4 D1)
Arsenal have lost just one of ten v bottom six sides.

Fulham’s last two wins have come against teams with red in their kit.

Fulham have never beaten Arsenal away in 29 attempts. Just five draws is their best effort.

Why Man Utd can win
Man Utd have the best last six home form and have conceded just two goals.
Man Utd are undefeated in four games on a Sunday v Burnley.
Man Utd are on the longest unbeaten streak in the league. Next best is Leeds on four games.
Why Burnley can win.
Burnley beat Man Utd in their last match at Old Trafford, and it was three draws before that making it a four game run without winning at home to Burnley for Man Utd.
Man Utd have lost once at home this season to a bottom six team.
Burnley have scored more goals away to top six teams in less games than Wolves and Spurs. And three more than Chelsea’s zero (only one game).
Barely Interesting Stat:
Bruno Fernandes has scored four more goals this season (H & A) than Burnley have away.

LEEDS v LIVERPOOL

Why Leeds can win
Leeds beat Man City last start at Man City with ten men.
Why Liverpool can win.
Liverpool are unbeaten in their last nine clashes with Leeds (W7 D2) and Leeds last won in 2001.
Liverpool are unbeaten in their last five trips to Elland Road (W4 D1) and Leeds haven’t beat them at home since 2000.
Liverpool have lost just once to middle eight teams and are unbeaten away.
Leeds (L4 D1) are yet to beat a top six side at home this season. It is three draws from three for visits from the big six clubs however.
Barely Interesting Stat:
Monday games between these sides are following a pattern in the six games played (most recent game first) Liverpool, Draw, Leeds, Liverpool, Draw, Leeds.
Leeds and Liverpool are two of only three teams to be on a three game winning run in the league.

Why Chelsea can win
Chelsea have won all six home games ever played v Brighton. They have also outscored Brighton by a combined 14-0. So Brighton are yet to score at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea lead the midweek H2H too W4 D1. All three Premier League clashes between these sides have been on a midweek day.
Why Brighton can win.
Chelsea did have a 100% record at home to bottom six clubs before West Brom turned them over 5-2 in their last home game. So hope for Brighton yet.
Barely Interesting Stat:
Chelsea have lost only once to Brighton, and that was the first meeting back in 1933.
Chelsea and Brighton have the second and third best xG score at home this season. Brighton have underperformed to theirs by 13 goals.

Why Spurs can win
Southampton are equal bottom of the last six away form with Sheffield United and have conceded two more goals than the Blades (doesn’t include Man Utd result).
Spurs have lost one of six home games v middle eight teams.
Southampton (D2 L2) have no wins against the big six clubs away this season.
Spurs have the upper hand on midweek H2H leading four wins to one.
Spurs have won the last five games v Southampton at home and nine of the last ten.

Why Aston Villa can win
Aston Villa have won two of their three home games against big six clubs. Thanks to their 7-2 thrashing of Liverpool, they have also scored the equal most anount of goals.
Why Man City can win.
Man City have won nine straight away games and haven’t conceded in their last three road trips.
Man City have won their last six games v Aston Villa and nine of the last ten. Villa did last win in 2013.
Barely Interesting Stat:
Man City haven’t lost consecutive games since Jan/Feb 2020 when they lost a Cup/League game back to back. As for tow league losses in a row, you have to go back to Dec 2018.
Man City have scored more away goals in the last six trips than four other teams have all season including Wolves.

Why Leicester can win
Leicester are yet to lose more than two games in a row this season in the Premier League.
Leicester have a decent record against bottom six sides (W8 D2 L1) and Midlands clubs (W5 D1 L1)
Why West Brom can win.
West Brom are in their season best form and are actually ahead of Man City in last three form on goal difference.
West Brom’s record away to top six teams isn’t too bad (W1 D1 L1)
