You may think there’s an awful lot of politicians, but that’s because most of them are awful and among the worst people on earth.

Why have they been such a jerk this month?
Not content with winning the 2020 Jerk of the Year, Donald Trump wasted no time in laying down a marker for jerkdom in the new year.
January 6 may just be enough to grab himself another annual Jerk award. It earned him the January 2021 award.
The second impeachment did not get up, which means more Trump and a potential second run for President. Great for Jerk of the Month nominations, possibly not for most others.
And that is enough for a nomination for February 2021 Jerk of the Month.

Not content with his conspiracy theories and being banned from most social media and publishing companies, Pete Evans has decided to run for Parliament in NSW.
And that is enough for a nomination for February 2021 Jerk of the Month.
ANTI-VAXXERS
Pricks who don’t like jabs. Or jabs who don’t like pricks. Not sure.

Facebook is no longer enough for the Anti-Vaxxers, who are a distant relative to the anti-lockdown protestors, and there is some ancestry to
Anti Vaxxers have been assembling for protests around the country against a vaccine that isn’t compulsory except in certain circumstances. And well before it has started to be rolled out. One wonders how they managed to stretch their budget to include data for posting shit on Facebook, consuming drugs and the fuel to get from northern NSW and hopefully back.
Their slogans range is as amusing as it is full of wisdom, with spurious claims ruining the 90 cent cardboard bought at the local newsagent. With as much intelligence as a January 6 riot, Trump rally or NRL Mad Monday.
Given the slender wedge of these people, once the vaccine is rolled out across the country to normal Australians, there should be enough herd immunity that these people can continue protesting and making no difference. If it were making a difference now.

Why have they been such a jerk this month?
For taking down good old regular Facebook pages including ours, yet other can spread their garbage without impediment like the group of giraffes above.
Although you could also add the giant media companies in Australia moaning about their content which led to all this.
Fair enough for Facebook to send a message, but to kill so many pages who didn’t deserve it, including ours.
Jerks.
AGED CARE COVID VACCINE STUFF UP

Why have they been such a jerk this month?
Covid is the biggest thing to happen to the world for decades, so a vaccine to slow it’s impact on daily life is the single most important thing this country has done in a long, long time.
So to let anyone near anyone who hasn’t been trained is truly absurd. And it’s not as if the vaccine is a surprise. It is one of the biggest news stories on 2021.
So when one person gave two others quadruple the dose because they hadn’t done the training, they are demanding to be injected themselves with dose of Jerk of the Month Nomination.

People have wide ranging views on gender and what people wish to identify as.
Some may say these things have gone too far, some say it is no one’s business but the people involved.
Whatever your view you are entitled to it, so why not keep it to yourself or at least leave it on Facebook with your photos of dinner, dogs, and days at h beach.
But to put up a massive transphobic sign outside her office in response to fellow congresswoman whose daughter is transgender and across from her office is pure jerk in action.

People have low expectations of politicians, they expect them to lie and talk shit.
But possibly not to the level that Craig Kelly has been lately.
He has now left the Liberal party and gone to the cross bench but you know it is bad when even One Nation don’t want you.

Nick Scali may be known for a great chaise, but try and chase them up for the JobKeeper money they earned while the company saw record profits and dividends.
That’s right, record results, but deciding not to pay back the JobKeeper money they obviously didn’t need like other big Australian companies.
Bit like a lot of Australian companies using Coronavirus as a crutch to reduce staff entitlements.
