THE VERDICT
It has to be either Kevin de Bruyne or Bruno Fernandes on paper. Given their teams easy fixtures of West Brom at home for City and Sheffield Utd away for United.
KDB seems to be trying a little bit too hard lately, but surely Man City will go nuts against West Brom with loads of goals. Man Utd are much better away from home, and Sheffield Utd are playing badly. Even if Man Utd go behind they still win and score. Riyad Mahrez is a left field option, making our top five captain’s choices with good form and record v West Brom. But will he play? Always hard to tell with Pep.
Spurs duo Son and Kane and Mo Salah look like they might cancel each other out in the big games of the midweek. Although you can’t rule out goals/assists for any of those three, the question is whether they will be multiple as the KDB and Fernandes options look far more likely for multiple scores.
Jamie Vardy tends to score in streaks and has a good record v Everton, so not a bad left field choice to be different.

Just for added interest, here is the movement of the above players from the last Gameweek.
Grealish is the top relative mover despite blanking last week. The rush for KDB makes perfect sense given this week’s fixtures and beyond.
Even we have lost patience with Timo Werner, so to see him in the red is no surprise. Neither will a goal or two from the German be a surprise now we’ve dropped him.
DCL movement out seems a little harsh, he is still top scorer.
