20-21 Premier League Goalscoring Trends

ACCORDING TO THE STATS WHO IS LIKELY TO SCORE….

Of course some of these are obvious, but what that’s what the stats say too.

Callum Wilson has a good record for scoring goals at home, against non big six teams and lower ranked teams. Given how bad Sheffield Utd are going and how good Newcastle’s goal scoring is against bottom six clubs (10-3 in five games) Callum Wilson is a great chance of adding to his tally.

Hueng-min Son’s stats were looking really good (a Aston Villa away), but they are now playing Fulham at home instead of Aston Villa. Stats are still good enough to see Son getting on the score sheet this midweek.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has good scoring stats away, and against non top six clubs. With Everton playing Wolves that makes it a game v middle 8, and Calvert-Lewin’s middle eight scoring rate isn’t the best.

Bruno Fernandes is a factor in any game, but especially away where Man Utd have been great this year on the road.

20-21 Premier League Assist Trends

AND SOME QUICK ASSIST ANALYSIS….

Harry Kane tops the assist table and he is now playing Fulham which will help his cause to add to the tally. Most of his assists have been against non big six teams, and all have come against mid table teams or lower.

Kevin De Bruyne is in form and his team are playing struggling Brighton. Stats show that Home or Away or League position of opposition doesn’t make a great deal of difference.
