It won’t surprise at all who is the first nomination, nor that a lot of the nominations are related to serial Jerk of the Month winner Donald Trump.
But as ever there are some everyday nominations too, jerks are not just news makers, they are the pains in the arse of every day.

For handling the US Election loss like a toddler.
For spending huge amounts of time and money on frivolous law cases which are almost laughed out of court instead of his actual job which is busily ignoring people catching and dying of Coronavirus.
For playing golf when he wasn’t thumb in mouth in the White House.
For still refusing to concede and then trying to persuade people to going against the vote and declare him the winner, as he battles in court to argue that the elections are full of fraud.
For everything really.

A junior version of the grand old jerk.
Why have they been such a jerk this month?
For being one of many to feed the Donald Trump ego by going around the US with election fraud.
That smug, smug, punchable face was over as many Fox News and similar media as possible with various degrees of garbage.
This is one of his better efforts.
Thankfully Donald Jnr won’t go home empty handed if he doesn’t win the November Jerk of the Month, as he recently got coronavirus. He said he’ll be isolating at home cleaning his guns. Careful now, Donald Jnr.

Friend of Trump, appears to be more of a criminal.

Whilst Bannon is not alone in supporting the Trump dummy spit post 2020 Election to the “worst presidential candidate in history” his call for beheading in the wake of it all demands a jerk nomination.

Ex New York mayor, current Lionel Hutz.
Why have they been such a jerk this month?
Remember when Rudy Giuliani was an almost respected politician, looking after the welfare of New York after the September 11 bombings.
Now he is a buffoonish, real life Lionel Hutz in charge of Donald Trump’s affairs.
His press conference in a landscape centre carpark was a real beaut, as has been most of his legal arguments in courts.
And if his hair dye isn’t leaking down his face, he’s being a jerk to the media.

North Dakota governor for seemingly making health workers with Coronavirus to continue working. And then eventually relenting on safety measures, well after his state’s Coronavirus per person stats were through the roof.
South Dakota’s governor for still not bothering with safety measures despite huge Covid numbers.
And others on Trump’s side who are continuing to play kindy games on behalf of Trump.

Sam Newman was too bad for for the Footy Show, giving an insight into how much of a jerk he has been over the years.
He has been quite vocal about Coronavirus restrictions, and for some of those has been previously nominated earlier in the year.
His best Jerk work came in November when he sarcastically applauded Joe Biden’s win on social media like this – “Shows someone who is mentally retarded and has special needs, can attain high office.”

The fact that Gould has come across as biased in the commentary box won’t be a surprise to rugby league fans.
It’s just normally we aren’t treated to a Grand Final and Origin series back to back.
The blatant Penrith flag waving in the Grand Final was bad enough, but then the bottom lip work when Queensland were in front in Origin made it really painful.
His Robert de Niro repeat a thon of a point he continually wants to make is as tired as he looks.
He “rested” himself for Origin Game Two, and like a referee, we knew it was a good game because we couldn’t remember them.

Talking of Origin clashes, but not just limited to there games, are the people who just can’t help themselves when there is a minute’s silence at a sporting contest.
If you are that attention-seeking that you can’t just quietly reflect for a small portion of you life, or you’re just an inconsiderate oaf who won’t shiut the f— up, then you should be banned from all sporting events.

Why have they been such a jerk this month?
Perhaps it is an indication of Scomo’s great leadership, or a much bigger political shitfight in the US distracting most Australians but the Australian PM has not featured in a Jerk of the Month poll for a while.
Of course he cleaned up in the early months of 2020 on the back of his initial handling of the bushfires, sports rorts, and attempts at hand shaking and trips to Hawaii.
This month’s nomination seems petty considering the vast array of Donald Trump’s evils, but talking over a female answering a question about females in politics show a level of arrogance that turns itself into Jerk territory buy the end of any month.
