Premier League Football Football is back, and with injuries, positive Covid tests and general exhaustion from too much football making it harder than ever to pick a winner, we offer up our Alternative Week 9 Premier League Predictions.
This week continues our alternative way of selecting Premier League winners from the last few seasons. Sometimes they are based on football stats, and some have a very obscure link to football or news events of that week. Or based on something for no good reasons at all.
Given the UK is in lockdown and fans aren’t allowed to attend matches, we have found a way of measuring fans of each club to pick a winner.
To find out why and who, please read on in our Alternative Week 9 Premier League Predictions .
Alternative Week 9 Premier League Predictions – Transfer Window Spending v Twitter
Since fans aren’t allowed to attend games, we thought we’d turn to social media as a measure of each team’s support.
So we are using Twitter, and the followers of each team.
Whichever team has more followers, have more online support, and so the team can feel that love, and feel better when they play, and hence are more likely to win.
We say anyway.
