Fantasy Premier League FPL GW35 Statistics and Preview

So much football it’s getting harder to keep up, so we offer up our FPL preview with our Fantasy Premier League FPL GW35 Statistics and Preview and preview.

We attempt to answer a few of the big FPL questions as quickly as possible, with a few stats and some opinion on the game week ahead.

We are particularly proud of our Captain’s table. A quick reference to help you decide your captain for the upcoming gameweek.

So enjoy the Fantasy Premier League FPL GW35 Statistics and preview, and good luck with your FPL teams.

FPL GW35 STATISTICS – CAPTAIN’S TABLE

Here we assemble the finest stats we can think of to get the best picture of who should wear the armband for your team.

We take previous history against this week’s opponent, which seems relevant in the weekend’s big top of the table clash. Form is a big factor at 30%, and so it should be. Overall Points are factored in, as is the calculation of total points to cost to see who is providing max value and points per game, as not to would be unfair on some mid season recruits. Especially those from Man Utd.

There’s enough stats here to not only use for your captain pick but deciding among the premium choices.

Kevin de Bruyne leads the way this week, followed by Mo Salah who punished everyone for disloyalty against Brighton mid week. The signs were there to sell.

The top two are clearly in front for the Captain’s table this week. But there is a doubt in the mind for both. With an FA Cup looming and this being a road trip all the way to Brighton, can Pep be trusted to start or even play KDB. And for Mo Salah, they are playing Burnley at home, but Burnley are decent opposition, and have won their last two away games to nil, so may be a harder nut to crack. And it’s not as if Liverpool look world beating right now.

Martial is in great form, and unlucky not to score more, but he looked particularly frustrated during the week, so can he turn that into goals this weekend. Mahrez is great too, but he’s even more dubious in the Man City start list.

We’ll plump for Bruno Fernandes, who makes the top five for the captain’s table for the first time. A great achievement considering he will lose possibly 20 points each week in our analysis of goals/assists against this week’s opposition. Throw in a conservative extra ten points for a goal or assist every second game and he’s right with the top two. Southampton are not bad away from home, but Man Utd are red hot. Much a Red Devil

Every captain choice comes with a risk this weekend, so let’s see if risk = reward.

FPL GW35 STATISTICS – STATS SINCE SEASON RESTART

Want to know you the best have been since the Premier League restarted? Of course you do. And here are the stats by player and team.

Of course we know that four teams have played more games, so factor that into the below. An extra games hasn’t really benefited all four teams. Although Sheffield United are starting to look good egan….

FPL GW35 STATISTICS – ALL ABOUT KDB

KDB leads the way here unsurprisingly in assists, but also tops every other category in this Assist Super graph.

Willian is making some late inroads in a few key stats down the other end of the Assist Super graph.

Grealish was at the upper end of the graph not long ago, but Villa’s form slide and him being continually fouled has slowed the points. We’ll have to wait until next season for more FPL points it looks like.

FPL GW33 STATS – SHOOTING STARS

Need to know more than just how many goals your prospective FPL forwards / midfielders have scored. Well enjoy the following.

fpl gw35 statistics - shots with xG

Bruno Fernandes not featuring in a lot of these table as they are season long views, however the one visual that is shown by minutes and not totals is the lowest minutes per shot on target. Where he is second…

Greenwood and Rashford too feature high in this list. We’re happy we have all three of these.

Vardy leads the golden boot race, but has the highest minutes per shot on target of this group.

Rashford is not getting much FPL love at the moment, but here it shows he has the highest xG, but is currently underperforming to it. We’re sticking with him to hopefully reap the rewards as he narrows the gap.

Top scorers Vardy, Ings, Salah and Aubameyang are all overperforming against xG. Jiminez is right on xG.

FPL GW35 STATISTICS – FPL MONEY FOR NOTHING AND YOUR CHIPS FOR FREE

Here we explore the points per $M for each player, to determine who is the best value.

Defenders and Goalkeepers are in general great value, so they are easy to identify.

This week have taken another step, of creating a measure for value which is determined on the total FPL points per match then divided by the player’s value. Allows players who haven’t played the whole season to be more comparable.

Enjoy.

FPL GW35 STATISTICS – OUR FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE SIDE

You can’t put up stats and stuff and not put your money where your mouth is.

Here is our team for the week ahead.

Our team is currently in the top 30K in the world, so not too bad. Rewarded for being a Salah loyalist.

We are lining up our side for our remaining bench boost, so a bit of a transition week for GW35. The standard move for Jamie Vardy is based as much on playing Bournemouth as it is wanting to enjoy the phrase Vardy Party just once more before the end of the season.

A few more changes next week, as we’re taking a risk to make the top 10K.
