The previous draw earlier in the season started the dip in form for Leicester, who previously looked capable of taking the fight to Liverpool, so one wonders if Norwich will be as resilient as their first encounter this season. Norwich need something to happen soon, or the Championship awaits.

Why Norwich Can Win….

The 1-1 draw earlier in the season was dominated by Leicester, and the Foxes aren’t going nearly as good right now. Although, neither are Norwich.

Norwich have only lost one of their last four home games – to Liverpool 1-0.

The Canaries record v Top Four teams at home this season isn’t bad for a last placed team – Liverpool 0-1, Chelsea 2-3 and the big win over Man City 3-2.

Norwich’s home goals v away goals % of 75% is the season’s best.

Why Leicester Can Win….

The last time Norwich played an away side in the bottom three they scored nine goals.

Jamie Vardy looked a little more dangerous last week than for a long time.

Leicester have made the most tackles this season, yet have still won the fourth most fouls.

Leicester have scored an average of 2.67 points per game against sides with bird nicknames. Norwich have just one point v dog related nicknames.

Norwich have won the last three midweek games between these sides, and haven’t lost a midweek games at home.

Norwich have also been caught offside the least in the Premier League this season. Their 30 offences is half of Sheffield Utd and Burnley.

BRIGHTON v CRYSTAL PALACE

A nice rivalry for the early game to make up for the two missing games. A loss for either will not help in the battle to stay above the relegation line, so extra on this game then.

Why Brighton Can Win….

Their last loss on a Saturday to Crystal Palace at home was in 1963.

Glenn Murray has scored 9 goals and 2 assists in 10 games in this fixture…for both sides against both sides.

Brighton are undefeated in their last four home games, although the only win was four games ago.

Only three teams have lost fewer games at home this season.

Why Crystal Palace Can Win….

Crystal Palace have lost just once on the road to sides currently in the bottom half this season – three draws and two wins.

Chelsea were beaten badly at home in the Champions League on Tuesday, and they were badly beaten in this fixture last season too. Bournemouth are on a decent run at home and had plenty of VAR issues last weekend at Burnley.

Bournemouth have won their last two home games. They’ll need the home points given their away record this season.

Bournemouth’s best record for games this season by the team’s main shirt colour is against blue kits.

They won this game 4-0 last season.

Why Chelsea Can Win….

Chelsea have a perfect record against teams in the bottom six when Chelsea have played them. Bournemouth have just 0.25 average points against the top six.

Chelsea average twice as many goals away as Bournemouth have at home.

Burnley have a perfect record against teams with black in their main kit.

West Ham finally get a game against a team outside of the top two, and they were nearly the first team to ruin Liverpool’s unbeaten run in the Premier League. Southampton took care of a mini form slide last weekend against Aston Villa.

Because surely that performance against Liverpool will translate into a win against Southampton.

West Ham have the best Shots on Target %.

West Ham have won 73% of the home games v Southampton.

Why Southampton Can Win….

Southampton have Danny Ings – a striker who scores goals.

This fixture at West Ham has seen the scoreline of 3-0 in the past three games – two for West Ham and one for Southampton.

WATFORD v LIVERPOOL

Liverpool had a real battle v West Ham on Monday, so can Watford follow suit? A battle of two teams who have barely moved table positions all season.

Why Watford Can Win….

Because Liverpool were nearly taken down by West Ham last start, and Watford are playing better even if the table says different.

Watford played quite well against Liverpool at Anfield earlier in the season.

Why Liverpool Can Win….

Refer Liverpool’s season. Dropped two points away this season.

Liverpool hold a 100% for games in Feb and March and for kick offs after 3pm in the past 20 seasons.

In the past seven games at Watford, Liverpool have scored three goals five times and Watford twice.

Liverpool are fourth for most unsuccessful long passes this season behind Sheffield United, Burnley and Southampton.

SPURS v WOLVES

Spurs look terrible at the moment, and the visit of Wolves won’t help, who will be confident of knocking over a Mourinho side with a Moutinho. Wolves may just trade their Europa League into a Champions League. Although, the way they are going Wolves can win the Europa League

Why Spurs Can Win….

Spurs’ record against midlands sides is their equal best – 2.00 points per game.

But they do have the third best xG rating from open play of all teams. Although that was probably with Kane and Son.

Spurs are unbeaten in games kicking off before 3pm v Wolves, same with Sundays.

Why Wolves Can Win….

Spurs have won just one of four home matches v Wolves.

Spurs have lost their two best attacking options, Wolves’ Jota is in rich form giving Wolves two in-form forwards.

Wolves are unbeaten v Spurs in both February and March.

Everton have a great record on Sunday v Man Utd at Goodison.

Everton are still unbeaten at home since Marco Silva left. Four wins and two draws.

Why Man Utd Can Win….

Man Utd seem to be putting together a decent run of form.

They have a very good record of 2.67 average points against sides with blue kits, where Everton have a much less impressive 1.00 average points per game against red kits.

Everton have three wins and a draw from the last four home games v Man Utd on a Sunday.

Man Utd have the fourth most successful passes in the final third this season.
