Alternative Week 26 EPL Predictions – Gurgler v Valentines Day

The most romantic day of the year is nearly here, and nothing says love like football and our Alternative Week 26 EPL Predictions.

Over the past few seasons, each week we used a different way of selection Premier League, some of them based on football stats, and some were just plain silly.

But as the weekly preview became the behemoth of stats, our alternative EPL tipping was put on hold, until this week.

So that means our Alternative Week 26 EPL Predictions are back, and given Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, we’ll use a stat around the love-fest to pick winners.

Our theory is that the more people spend on Valentine’s Day, the happy their partners will be, and therefore, will cheer their team the hardest and push them towards victory.

Everton have only lost to Man City since Marco Silva moved on. They have also scored as many points as Man City over that time. The Toffees are also unbeaten at home since the Silva reign ended. (3W 2D)

Brighton also haven’t lost a game this season against a side starting with W. (3D 1W)

Sheffield Utd have scored exactly the same amount of goals home or away. Bournemouth have conceded the same amount home or away.

Wolves have not beaten Leicester in any of the last five midweek night games, Although Wolves did beat Leicester seven time in a row before that win less run at Leicester.

The last match at Carrow Road ended 5-4 to Liverpool, and five goals or more have been scored in six of the last seven games.

Newcastle have scored one goal in total from the last five games at Arsenal. Arsenal have a 76% win record v Newcastle at home in the last 20 seasons.
