FORM GUIDE – August 2019 Jerk of the Month
DONALD TRUMP
Why nominated for the Jerk?
Every month it could be a long list of Jerk worthy deeds, longer than the fortnightly shop Coles docket, but the September 2019 Jerk of the Month nomination has been sealed around a Sharpie.
Trump’s insistence in trying to prove himself correct after incorrectly advising of the wrong state they were in danger of the recent hurricane Dorian by hand drawing a new Hurricane forecast onto a map is down right jerk.
Jerk Rating: 10/10
HURRICANE DORIAN
Why nominated for the Jerk?
Talking of Hurricane Dorian, what a jerk.
Jerk Rating: 5/10
IDIOTS WHO LIGHT BUSHFIRES
Why nominated for the Jerk?
Speaking of weather events, bushfires ruined lives in September.
To think anyone would deliberately light them boggles the mind.
And earns a Jerk of the Month nomination.
Jerk Rating: 10/10
ROXY JACENKO
Why nominated for the Jerk?
For her self indulgent tripe of a TV show in Channel 10’s Pilot week.
What the world doesn’t need is another “reality show” like her.
Jerk Rating: 8/10
SKY NEWS AUSTRALIA
Why nominated for the Jerk?
Talking of shit TV….
For being Fox News lite. And awful.
Jerk Rating: 8/10
BORIS JOHNSON
Why nominated for the Jerk?
Talking of News Ltd…
For the oaf-ish way he has handled the Prime Minister job.
Jerk Rating: 6/10
DRONES
Why nominated for the Jerk?
Following on from other things that get stuck in the sky…
For mysteriously bombing Oil reserves and raising the price of petrol.
Jerk Rating: 3/10
TOBY GREENE
Why nominated for the Jerk?
For being the AFL’s Shining Jerk.
Jerk Rating: 9/10
DAVID WARNER
Why nominated for the Jerk?
For costing Australian Cricket fans a year of Steve Smith’s red hot form. And for continually smiling when getting out to Stuart Broad again.
Jerk Rating: 9/10
JOEL WILSON
Why nominated for the Jerk?
Perhaps it is a bit harsh given his error was more incompetence than jerk. But his howler in the Fourth Test of Ashes Series stunk.
Jerk Rating: 1/10
NRL
Why nominated for the Jerk?
For hopeless administration of rugby league, especially the judiciary.
p.s. move the Grand Final back to 3pm like the majority of those who did the NRL survey said.
Jerk Rating: 6/10
GUS GOULD
Why nominated for the Jerk?
For continually thinking he has all the answers to the hopeless administration of rugby league, especially the judiciary. He has a great mind, and would probably do a great job, just sick of hearing him talk about it.
Jerk Rating: 9/10
THE GURGLER WEBSITE
Why nominated for the Jerk?
The Gurgler website celebrated its sixth birthday in September, and if anyone or thing more deserves a Jerk of the Month award, it is the website that awards such an “honour”.
If this website isn’t bitching about the same things for the 100th time, it is providing more garbage on the internet that it doesn’t really need.
Either way, the whole website and its content has asked for a September 2019 Jerk of the Month nomination minimum.
Jerk Rating: 9/10
