The story…
It seemed originally as a a head to head with Mexico to be the bridesmaid to Germany in Group F, but after yesterday’s games that makes it even more difficult. It may end up coming down to each team’s game against South Korea, and Sweden need to fill their boots or beat Germany. That may well be underestimating South Korea, but you only have to look at the recent record of Asian qualified teams at the World Cup and Saudi Arabia’s performance against Russia to be worried that they will get any kind of result. Even with Spurs man Son. What a pity Zlatan isn’t here, for so many reasons. Some of them football based.
