The story…

This is England’s first taste of the 2018 World Cup, and the question is whether they are going serve up disappointment now, or in the knockout stage. This is just the type of game that they have slipped up with in the past. Tunisia will make life difficult for all teams at the World Cup, but surely England with all their big superstars, and a forward like Harry Kane should be way too good for Eagles of Carthage.

Players to Watch

Raheem Sterling (England) / Wahbi Khazri (Tunisia) – Sterling’s preparation involved a unpopular tattoo and showing up late for training camp.

Before the latest readjustment these teams were 13th and 14th in FIFA Rankings. Hard to believe Tunisia were so high. They have won just the one game at 4 previous World Cups. England haven’t lost a qualifying game for any tournament since 2009. The qualifying specialists.
