How many great people named Boris can you remember? Or want to? Well you’ve come to the right place at the right time as it is offically International Boris Week.
Each week, or therebouts, we attempt to give you a cheerful reason to get into the new working week. It also allows us to celebrate something often overlooked or forgotten completely.
Just the way we like it.
And is there any more of a forgotten name than Boris. Looking through the list, it seems that Boris is a name like few others that oozes personality. All of the people named Boris we could find or mattered have loads of personality.

Boris Yeltsin
The former Russian President will probably only ever be remembered for that dance that made him look like a Leagues Club rummy rather than the distinguished politician he was. And so for that very reason we will only provide the video that shows that dance, and more similar behaviour. At least he looked like he enjoyed politics and the people. Unlike most modern versions across the world.
Boris Johnson
Similar to Boris Yeltsin where his hair and behaviour outrank his political achievements, except he is much more dull. Except for when he got stuck in a Zip Line.
Boris And Natasha
The baddies from Rocky and Bullwinkle may not be remembered by too many people, but can’t be left out of International Boris Week.

This is possibly one of the most obscure Borises ever, or indeed, biggest Crap Fantale of all time.
Boris the Black Knight aka Eric Summons was host of this morning kids breakfast show, and it highlights a different world of entertainment that was on offer back in the day.
