Adebayo Akinfenwa aka The Beast – February 2018 Unsung Hero of the Month

Our favourite football player in the whole wide world – Adebayo Akinfenwa aka The Beast – has taken out the very first Unsung Hero of the Month.

After providing some much needed balance for the month after the very cynical Jerk of the Month (coincidentally won by Barnaby Joyce, Anthony Mundine and Ber-nard Tomic), the many reader of The Gurgler have decided that the League Two dynamo is the most deserving of our deserving nominees.

Adebayo Akinfenwa continues to score, assist, and boss around in the Football League after more than 15 seasons, and he dances from time to time too. See the video below for more of his best work.

We may see The Beast back for more nominations yet. Hard to see runners up Brad Hogg, a goalkeeper from an obscure Italian side, and Winter Olympics getting another go. So we salute them now for their work.

And we salute Adebayo Akinfenwa more as the February 2018 Unsung Hero of the Month.
