The International break has finally buggered off so it is back to EPL and our EPL Matchweek 12 Predictions based on post-International break form and preview of the big weekend of Football ahead.
This weekend will see the first hitout for West Ham in the new David Moyes era, and is probably going to be the last coaching gig for Moyes.
More interestingly there’s an all North London derby to be played.
So much to get into, but instead of boring our few readers to death and get into what we’ve selected and our slightly absurd method of selecting opponent tips, here’s a few of our favourite things.
A FEW OUR OF FAVOURITE THINGS FOR THE EPL MATCHWEEK 12 AHEAD
FTA GAME in AUSTRALIA – ARSENAL v SPURS – A nice early game on Saturday between traditional rivals on FTA. Sounds too good to be true and will probably end up 0-0 like so many other big games.
WATFORD v WEST HAM – this year’s surprise for going better than expected (Watford) up againat a team very few expected to be going as bad as they are – West Ham. New coach bounce with Moyes? Maybe for a bit and then that sheen will rub off.
LEICESTER v MAN CITY – Manchester City are the best team to watch right now in football, Leicester are bouncing back with a new manager and players like Mahrez seem interested again. For now.
GURGLER’S EPL TIPPING COMPETITION
Each week we will put our tips up against an opponent, just like Lawro’s tips on the BBC Football website. But instead of having famous comedian and musicians we’ve never heard of, we put our tips up against a different type of opponent.
We determine tips based on some ridiculous premise or statistic, and we then see if arse truly does beat class.
