Shock news hit the Sports pages today as the word got around about Paul Vautin Axed from Footy Show. It is the first sign that show is in trouble, but certainly not an indication of its quality.
The NRL Footy Show always claimed that their bunch of Logies gave them vindication of their greatness, but despite the Logie win from this year they executives have been forced into a major reshuffle for next year.
All we know is that Erin Molan will host whatever is left of the Footy Show next year. That gives us plenty of room to speculate, somewhat ridiculously, on what will come next for Paul Vautin and The Footy Show.
What won’t come next for The Footy Show is us watching it, no matter what they or we come up with, but that won’t stop us having some fun.

A return of Sam and The Fatman? The Wiki description says it was “short lived Australian TV Sports Program”. What a great summary.
