The FA Cup Round 2 lands this weekend as the Non League minnows and forgotten and obscure lower division UK football teams line up for their big pay days. Maybe.
FA Cup Round 2 is the last round of the FA Cup before all the big teams from the EPL like Man Utd and Liverpool and some mediocre one like Ipswich Town join the competition.
Teams from Non League will hope to continue a run that could make the difference financially, and teams like Sheffield United and Bolton Wanderers can remind Football fans they still exist despite dropping to the third tier.
But they all have to get through FA Cup Round 2 first.
SLIGHTLY INTERESTING THINGS
There are 12 Non League teams remaining.
The lowest ranked of all is Stourbridge from the 7th tier Northern Premier League Premier Division (10th)
There is one all Non League tie – giving at least one Non League team a passage through to the big time.
There are seven former winners of the FA Cup in the second round.
