The Gurgler’s Look at the Queensland Cup/Intrust Super Cup R15

THIS WEEK’S INTRUST SUPER CUP PREVIEW BROUGHT TO YOU BY THIS WEEK’S QUEENSLAND CUP LEGEND – Quentin Laulu-Togagae

Another big week of Intrust Super Cup with six games on offer, two more than the NRL, and with their line ups affected by Origin, one could argue the quality clashes of the weekend will be in the second tier in the Sunshine state. Although, given the weather forecast for this weekend, the Sunshine State might be a long bow.

Another long bow is our weekly Qld Cup multi, but for that one moment in time we can brag about a win, and for the savvy street money enthusiast you would have got a $33 collect. Enough to cover costs from following our tips for the rest of the year so far.

Plenty to like about the match ups this weekend, but none in Brisbane, but one for Bundaberg as the Rum City gets a taste of ISC.

THIS WEEK’S GAMES in 25 WORDS OR LESS

Sunshine Coast Falcons v Easts Tigers @ Sunshine Coast Stadium Kick Off – Saturday 3pm
Melbourne feeder clubs battle it out, beside each other on ladder and Falcons can get within two points with a win.

Townsville Blackhawks v Ipswich Jets @ Jack Manski Oval Kick Off – Saturday 4pm
Importantly, Willie Minoga is back, bad news for Ipswich who have almost turned their season around. 2015 Grand Final replay

Norths Devils v Central Capras @ Salter Oval, Bundaberg Kick Off – Saturday 6pm
Norths have a good record against the Capras so taking their game to Bundaberg shouldn’t pose a problem.

Mackay Cutters v Northern Pride @ BB Print Stadium Mackay Kick Off – Saturday 6pm
Just one win for Mackay so far, Pride chasing top 6 spot, games usually close.

Tweed Heads Seagulls v Burleigh Bears @ Piggabeen Kick Off – Sunday 1:40pm
Last Year Tweed thrashed Burleigh 50-4 in the only all Gold Coast clash, this year the Bears are equal first and have already beaten the Seagulls once.

PNG Hunters v Wynnum Seagulls @ National Football Stadium Kick Off – Sunday 3pm
The Hunters are back for now, two in a row at home. Need the wins before a tough run coming up.

The full preview is with our friends at Nothing But League. Catch up with it all here.
