An action packed season of Intrust Super Cup aka the Queensland Cup came down to the big final at Suncorp Stadium yesterday afternoon, and one could describe the games as…well, action packed.
We jumped on board the Jet after the PNG Hunters missed out on the big show, and Ipswich won their first ever premiership and in the style that has made them a favourite for neutrals. Now they get the chance to show their wares on the big stage on NRL Grand Final this weekend. With a Broncos – Cowboys final, and an Ipswich appearance, maybe rugby league will change it’s style now that style can equal success.
Hopefully it will be drier in Sydney this weekend as the big downpour just before the game made the game a little scrappy. Exciting none the less.
