Eventually there’ll be a midweek without some form of Football, but thankfully not just yet as we still can’t get enough football, especially boredom busting midweek football.
Some may say it’s only the League Cup, where the big teams play their kids in the hope they can get them to Wembley for the least amount of effort, and they should be able to given the amount of stockpiling of talent the big teams do these days. But this third round of fixtures actually threatens to be interesting with plenty of games to look forward to for the casual midweek football street money punter.
And as an Ipswich Town fan, there’s the big game at old Trafford against Manchester United. Sure there’s every chance we’ll get pumped, but you just never know, and there’s always hope.
