The Queensland Cup aka Intrust Super Cup reaches week 2, and this will be cracker.
First up is the 1st v 2nd clash between Townsville Blackhawks and PNG Hunters. Townsville beat most teams throughout the year on their way to the minor premiership, except the Hunters, losing two out of two games. PNG Hunters are still unbeaten since Round 6, and only Easts remain of the teams that have beaten them this year. The game kicks off at 5pm on Saturday, and a Live Stream should be available via the QRL website.
The Sunday game will be a beauty too with the Ipswich Jets taking on the Easts Tigers. Channel 9 have this elimination game, and if it is anything like the previous clash at Easts then it’s worth a view on Sunday afternoon. It will probably be a better game than the NRL finals that is on afterwards.
