Getting down to the business end of the Queensland Cup aka Intrust Super Cup, and there’s plenty still to play for. There’s the battle for first between the competition’s newest teams – Townsville Blackhawks and Gurgler favourite PNG Hunters. Behind them waiting on a blip is Ipswich and Wynnum. Then there’s the battle for the last two finals spots between a gaggle or myriad of teams. Although it looks more likely that it’s three with a big chance into two.
Some great games on offer too. Easts only just failed in their trip to PNG, and Redcliffe fell just short of a win at Wynnum in the Herald Cup.
