The internet’s smallest poll for 2014 continues with a third nomination for the coveted Golden Turpie award for Man of the Year.
Now, as mentioned in the original opening to the award, it does not necessarily need to be a man, or in this instance, a human.
This nomination goes to a TV star who filled many ad breaks with his sage advice on the difference between animals and insurance. In this day and age of people being far too busy to deal with the differences between animals and insurance, the advice received with every ad break is welcome comfort to all.
So we offer congratulations to Aleksandr Orlov the Compare the Market meerkat on his nomination for the Man of the Year 2014.
