As ever there were star performances, work horses giving it their all, and some who had an off night. But which players were the best of the best you ask? We’ll let the stats do the talking and separate the Wheat/Chaff to present the 2024 NRL Round 9 Team of the Week & Player Stats.
First we have our Team of the Week, which takes some of the key player stats from the weekend and using various scoring methods come up with the best players in their positions from the latest round of the NRL.

- David Fifita’s 15 line breaks is the second best player/round effort this season, well behind Brian To’o’s 21 from Round 8.
- Dolphins were on the worse side of all key stats v North Queensland except errors and points scored.
- Interchange players make the fewest errors per game, but they give away the second penalties and ruck infringements combined.
- Gurgler favourite Xavier Willison is among the best this year for Run Metres vs Minutes played.
